Protect brain children
January 14-15, 2019 – – Child Safety Promotion and Injury Prevention Research Center (CSIP) had surveyed the number of wearing helmet among 451 students (after recieving a helmet which supporting from Halliburton) at 8 schools in Songkhla, namely, Sriwichai school, Baan Kwuan Niang school, Wat Pa-o school, Wat Klang school, Wat Noen Pichai school, Baan Daan school, Baan Na Kuan Lung school, and Baan Klong-wa school.
26-30 November, 2018 – – Child Safety Promotion and Injury Prevention Research Center (CSIP), Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, with the cooperation of Halliburton Charitable Foundation, the main sponsor of the project, together with Office of Songkhla Primary Education Area Zone 1 & 2, including the network partners in Songkhla province, launched the project “Helmet Grant” to 451 students from 8 schools in Songkhla, namely, Sriwichai school, Baan Kwuan Niang school, Wat Pa-o school, Wat Klang school, Wat Noen Pichai school, Baan Daan school, Baan Na Kuan Lung school, and Baan Klong-wa school. The project aims to increase number of students using helmet when riding in order to reduce number of injury and death related to motorcycling accident.
During 20-24 ,August 2018 at the meeting room of the Songkhla Primary Education Office Area Zone 2, Child Safety Promotion and Injury Prevention Research Center (CSIP), Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, with the cooperation of Halliburton Charitable Foundation, together with Office of Songkhla Primary Education Area Zone 1 and Zone 2, called for a meeting on “C & H Anti-Knock: Child Brain Safety (phase II)” project.

November 8, 2017 at Songkhla Kindergarten School, Songkhla Province – – Child Safety Promotion and Injury Prevention Research Center (CSIP), Ramathibodi Hospital, with the cooperation of Halliburton Charitable Foundation, the main sponsor of the project Safe Kids Worldwide USA, together with Songkhla Kindergarten School, Office of Songkhla Primary Education Area Zone 1, Songkhla Police Station, School Board, parents, community members and network partners, launched the project “CSIP & Halliburton Helmets to Save Kids Lives”.
CSIP together with volunteers from Halliburton and the school measured individual student’s head in order to adjust helmet’s inner pad fit into their heads as much as possible.

September 11, 2017 – – On the project intervention timeline, it found delay in giving new standard helmets to 305 students due to production problem.
According to the declaration of Thai Industrial Standard Institute, Ministry of Industry, on child helmet standard change from 1996 Standard to 2014 Standard, a child helmet must be manufactured under the new edition 2014 TSI standard.
June 1-2, 2017 – – Child Safety Promotion and Injury Prevention Research Center (CSIP) in collaboration with Halliburton volunteers and teachers of Anubansongkhla school conducted a helmet observation survey at Anubansongkhla school. It found 307 students as a passenger not wearing helmet.
